Stow Police were called to the scene by an employee of Ron Marhofer Auto Family to investigate an alleged report of criminal damaging to a vehicle in the sales lot.

The employee told police on Nov. 19, that an unknown person keyed the entire driver’s side of a truck parked in the middle of the first row of the lot located near Yukon Road.

The police report also stated that two other cars, one on each side of Yukon Road, appeared to be "similarly keyed" and that incident was alleged to have occurred on the Monday night a week prior.

City Council is currently reviewing a text amendment request made by auto dealer Ron Marhofer to permit auto sales and/or rental as a conditional use in C-3 Community Retail District.

Marhofer wants to redevelop the area around his business, which would involve the demolition of existing homes on Thorndale Avenue and the elimination of Yukon Road.
