The pre-registration deadline for students 15 and older to participate in Work Zone Awareness Week is today.
This special driver’s education event will allow students to practice in golf carts how to safely maneuver in work zones. The purpose is to raise awareness of the hazards of driving in and around roadway work zones.
The Area Wide Protective, America’s Traffic Control Leader, and Universal Driver’s Training Center are partnering together to teach this course from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at Stow-Munroe Falls High School and 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday Cuyahoga Falls High School.
Students who participate in this event can have it count toward their in-class driver education credits.
