Someone broke into a home Aug. 5 in the 4000 block of Beckley Road, broke a television and confronted a resident.
Domestic violence
An Osage Street woman reported Aug. 7 that a man she knows swung a hammer at her.
A woman told police Aug. 5 that a man hit her in the mouth at a home in the 4000 block of Genevieve Boulevard.
Theft
Several cars were broken into Aug. 7. A video game system was among the items taken.
