A Randel Avenue man, 20, was charged with bribery and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he was found driving with a suspended license and had a drug scale in the vehicle. He is accused of offering the officer money to let him go.

A Jean Avenue man, 52, was charged with robbery. Police said he was one of the men who helped another man whose vehicle had broken down in front of a business on East Cuyahoga Falls Avenue. The owner of the vehicle offered to give the men money for their help, but the men beat up the victim and stole his wallet.
Charges of aggravated robbery and resisting arrest were filed against a 25-year-old man from Blake Road, Wadsworth, on June 18. A store officer at Kmart on Wooster Road North tried to stop the man, who was suspected of shoplifting, The man is accused of pushing the officer aside, then running and fighting with police when apprehended.
